Exhibition “Velvet Flowers”
The exhibition Velvet Flowers showcases a series of abstract acrylic paintings by Katarina, where she
explores the power of line and color to create atmospheres and convey emotions. Using shades of blue,
purple, pink, and orange, she builds compositions of lines and soft patches that intertwine into complex
patterns, evoking both dreamlike worlds and natural organic forms. There is also an underlying reference
to the soft, tactile quality of velvet. The works invite the viewer to explore the surfaces and nuances, as if
running fingers over fabric and discovering hidden layers. Katarina creates a visual experience that is
both subtile and powerful, like a flower in full bloom.
